Electronic prescriptions are immediately sent to the Pharmacy, and if a patient calls ahead it will be ready when they visit the Pharmacy, which helps reduce wait times associated with dropping a prescription off and then having to come back at a later time to pick it up. They help prevent medication errors since the prescription information populates within the Pharmacy’s system, eliminating the need for Pharmacy staff to decipher and re-type handwritten prescriptions into our electronic medical record. Electronic prescriptions are sent using a private, secure, and closed network. This includes prescriptions for both controlled substances (CII-V medications) and non-controlled substances. The Munson pharmacy accepts all electronic prescriptions from providers outside of Fort Leavenworth. According to federal law, the Pharmacy cannot dispense prescriptions that expire before they are picked up. The Pharmacy will keep completed prescriptions on the shelf for 10 business days before returning them to stock. For prescriptions that are ready on the Pharmacy’s shelf, please use the Pick-Up window, located at Window #7 in the lobby, for expedited service (no ticket from the kiosk required). A photocopy or a digital copy (front and back) of the ID card may be used. When picking up prescriptions, customers must have a military ID card for all beneficiaries 10 years and older (Age has been updated). Q- Anywhere Remote Pharmacy Check-In Using Q-Anywhere ![]() When returning to the Pharmacy lobby to pick-up completed prescriptions or refills that have already been called-in and are waiting on the shelf, please proceed to the Pharmacy’s pick-up window, at Window #7, for expedited service. Patients may activate new or renewal prescriptions or pick-up completed prescriptions and refills when visiting the lobby. The pharmacy lobby is open and available for patients to use, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. We are able to provide up to a 90-day supply for most medications, so make sure to ask you provider to write your prescription for a 90-day supply. If you have a prescription from a TRICARE network or non-network doctor, you may fill it here, as long as it’s available on the TRICARE Uniform Formulary. You can fill prescriptions at no cost from our pharmacy. We’re pleased to provide pharmacy services to all our patients.
